After extinguishing the candle, remove any black residue from the wick to prevent the candle from becoming soiled. You can safely apply the warm wax to your skin. To keep the scent intense, do not burn świec for more than 2–3 hours at a time. If you want to use it for a longer period, extinguish the candle and wait until the wax has completely hardened before relighting it.
