Special Properties:

Natto is a traditional Japanese dish made from soybeans fermented with the bacteria Bacillussubtilis natto. It has been consumed for approximately 1 200 years and is known for its numerous health benefits, especially due to its nattokinase content, an enzyme that has a significant effect on the cardiovascular system and the health of the heart and blood vessels. Nattokinaza breaks down fibrin, which helps dissolve clots. It also increases the amount of tissue plasminogen activator (t-PA), which produces plasmin, an enzyme with thrombolytic effects. Nattokinaza activates prourokinase, which is a precursor of urokinase, an enzyme with thrombolytic effects.
